Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice. In this vital role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure infection control protocols are meticulously followed. Your energetic and positive approach will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry cases. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments using aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed. Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct vital signs assessments and medical imaging as needed to support comprehensive patient care. Provide dental terminology explanations to patients and assist with medical documentation and coding for insurance claims. Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow efficiently. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure. Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in infection control practices and aseptic techniques. Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately; experience with 3D scanners is advantageous. Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles and procedures. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members across specialties including prosthodontics and endodontics. Pay:
$27.10 - $32.64 per hour
