Job Description
Dental Assistant We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in providing excellent patient care, works well with others, and is confident working in a busy dental environment. Our ideal candidate is organized, reliable, professional, and eager to contribute to a positive team culture. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and maintain an organized, clean clinical environment Set up and break down operatories between patients Sterilize and disinfect instruments and maintain proper infection-control protocols Take dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations Prepare dental materials and instruments for procedures Assist with impressions, lab cases, and other clinical procedures Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation Provide patients with a comfortable and positive experience Explain basic treatment procedures and post-operative instructions to patients Monitor and maintain dental supplies and inventory Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and office protocols Work efficiently with the dentist and entire dental team to maintain excellent patient flow Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred RDA certification/registration preferred, if applicable Current CPR certification preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures Experience with digital X-rays preferred Experience with dental practice management software preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail and organization Dependable, punctual, and professional Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to learn What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience No weekends Paid time off Paid holidays Dental benefits Opportunities for professional growth Supportive and collaborative team environment Modern dental technology and equipment A positive workplace where your contributions are valued If you are a compassionate and motivated Dental Assistant who enjoys working with patients and being part of a great dental team, we would love to hear from you!
