The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical procedures, patient care, and dental office operations. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control and safety. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to comprehensive dental care in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Duties Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring all tools are sterilized and ready for use in accordance with infection prevention management protocols. Assist dentists during various procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry by providing chairside support and managing dental instruments efficiently. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and explain procedures using appropriate dental terminology to enhance patient understanding and comfort. Maintain clinical cleanliness by following dental sterilization procedures, aseptic techniques, and infection control policies to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients. Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow as a dental receptionist, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures across general dentistry specialties including pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Experience operating dental equipment such as dental x-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools with precision and safety awareness. Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow during treatments.
