Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant and Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist with various clinical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office while adhering to all safety and health regulations. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Take and develop X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Manage dental supplies inventory and assist with ordering as needed. Perform sterilization of instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental environment. Support prosthodontic procedures by preparing materials and assisting during treatments. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to enhance patient experience. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications: Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping. Experience with X-Ray technology and medical imaging. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry. Familiarity with medical coding practices. Experience using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
