• $28•30/hr•Yuba City Yuba City Family Dental Group is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our team part-time, two consistent days per week.

This is a great opportunity for an RDA who wants a stable weekday schedule, strong hourly pay, and a professional dental office where patient care, teamwork, and good clinical flow matter. We are looking for someone who is confident chairside, dependable, kind with patients, and able to support a busy general dental office. The right person does not need to know our systems on day one, but should bring solid RDA experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn how our office operates.

8:00 AM to 5:00

PM Pay:

$28 to $30 per hour, depending on experience Work setting: Private general dental office License required: Active California RDA license Experience preferred: 3 or more years of dental assisting experience Why This Role May Be a Good Fit Consistent weekday schedule No weekend hours Competitive hourly pay for part-time work Supportive team environment Established general dental practice Opportunity to work closely with doctors and patients Good fit for an experienced RDA who wants steady part-time work What You'll Be Doing Assist doctors chairside during general dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and help keep the clinical day running smoothly Take dental X-rays within California RDA scope Support exams, restorative procedures, extractions, impressions, scans, temporaries, and other general dentistry procedures Chart treatment and assist with clinical documentation Follow sterilization, infection control, OSHA, and safety protocols Turn over rooms efficiently between patients Keep operatories stocked and ready Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for Communicate professionally with doctors, patients, and team members Stay organized and proactive during the clinical day What We're Looking For Active California Registered Dental Assistant license Experience in a general dental office Comfortable taking radiographs Strong chairside assisting skills Dependable, punctual, and professional Friendly and calm with patients Able to stay productive without constant direction Open to feedback and willing to learn office-specific systems Comfortable working with different doctor styles Team-oriented and willing to help where needed Preferred Experience 3 or more years of dental assisting experience Open Dental experience or similar dental software Digital X-rays Intraoral scanning Impressions Temporary crowns Strong room turnover and sterilization flow Patient education experience Who Will Do Well Here You will likely do well in this role if you are experienced, reliable, and enjoy being part of a team that values good patient care and smooth clinical flow.
