Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and treatment options. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
