Overview Looking for a small locally owned dental office to work with a great workplace environment and somewhere you actually want to go to?! Ranieri Dentistry is a new dental office in downtown Bonita Springs, FL! We are looking for an experienced dental assistant to join our team and become a vital part of delivering exceptional care with great communication and work ethics. In this role, you will support the team in providing dental assisting duties along with occasional front desk help. Your expertise in clinical procedures, infection control, and patient communication will help create a positive experience for every patient. This position will help create a great work environment and grow the brand new practice into a great place to work.

Hours:

7 AM - 4 PM, 4 days per week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Responsibilities Assist dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery, ensuring smooth and efficient operations Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up, and maintaining aseptic techniques in accordance with infection prevention management policies (CDC). Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including dental x-ray procedures and 3D scans, adhering to safety standards and radiation protocols Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as OpenDental, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow efficiency and patient comfort Monitor vital signs and assist in medical documentation for patients requiring pediatric dentistry or oral surgery procedures Maintain dental instrument processing routines and sterilization procedures to uphold the highest standards of infection control Assisting with appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and answering patient inquiries professionally, etc Along with other roles around the office and working as a team Qualifications Experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry, taking intra-oral scans, preliminary impressions, fabricating temporary crown/bridges, etc. Familiarity with EMR systems such OpenDental or similar, proficiency in dental coding, documentation, dental insurance knowledge Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and clinical confidentiality policies Expertise in dental sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control practices Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately while adhering to radiation safety standards Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and patients and willingness to work as a team Bi-Lingual and Spanish speaking is a plus Join the team at Ranieri Dentistry to help build a great work culture and environment that will attract patients to grow the practice. Pay:

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
