Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our endodontic practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, including assisting with procedures, managing patient records, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks using TDO software. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and medical imaging is advantageous. Proficiency in handling dental receptionist duties is a plus. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
