Our office is currently in search of a dedicated Dental Assistant. I am looking for a candidate who has graduated from a dental assistant training program and who has prior experience. We are looking for a candidate with a great personality that is a team player. The position would be for Monday through Thursday 7:45 AM-5 pm with an hour lunch break. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a sterile and efficient environment. Utilize 3D scanners (Itero) for imaging and assist in the creation of dental models. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance patient comfort and streamline processes. Take X-rays as directed by the dentist, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and manage medical terminology relevant to dental practices. Support front office operations as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries. Utilize Patterson Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Prepare treatment rooms for procedures and maintain cleanliness throughout the office. Skills Proficient in assisting with general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with 3D scanning technology and its application in dentistry. Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal workflow. Experience in taking X-rays and understanding radiographic principles. Strong grasp of medical terminology related to dental care. Ability to function as a dental receptionist when required, including appointment scheduling and patient communication. Proficient in dental terminology to facilitate effective communication within the practice. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security.
