•28/hour + Monthly Bonus Opportunities Our growing private dental practice is looking for an experienced, energetic Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in excellent patient care, enjoys working in a high-quality clinical environment, and wants an opportunity to continue growing their skills. This position will primarily focus on general and restorative dentistry , but our assistants also have the opportunity to assist with implants, extractions, grafting, and other surgical procedures . Previous surgical or implant experience is strongly preferred. Our Ideal Dental Assistant You are someone who is: Fluent in English and Spanish Professional, positive, and energetic Warm and engaging with patients Confident with patient education Experienced and clinically strong Organized and detail-oriented Able to multitask in a busy environment Comfortable thinking ahead and anticipating the doctor's needs Dependable and team-oriented Able to work hard while still enjoying the people you work with Passionate about dentistry and providing an excellent patient experience What You'll Be Doing Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with general and restorative dentistry, including: Crowns, bridges, fillings, and restorative procedures Attachments for invisible aligners Packing cord Digital scans and impressions Temporary crowns and restorations X-rays and clinical photography Patient education and treatment communication Preparing and turning over treatment rooms Maintaining excellent sterilization and infection-control standards Anticipating the doctor's needs during procedures Helping keep the clinical schedule running efficiently Surgical Assisting Our practice also performs advanced surgical dentistry, and this position will assist with surgical procedures as needed. Experience with any of the following is a major plus : Dental implants Surgical and routine extractions Bone grafting Implant-supported restorations Full-arch / All-on-4 procedures Surgical setup and breakdown Sterile technique and maintaining a surgical field You do not need to be exclusively a surgical assistant. This is primarily a restorative dental assisting position, but we are specifically looking for someone who is comfortable assisting with surgery and wants to continue developing those skills. Requirements Spanish and English fluency required Dental assisting experience; 3+ years preferred Strong restorative assisting skills Expanded-functions clinical skills Excellent communication and customer-service skills Ability to anticipate the doctor's needs and stay organized Comfortable occasionally assisting with phones and other team responsibilities when needed Surgical and/or implant assisting experience strongly preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent EFDA / Expanded Functions certification as applicable Dental radiography / X-ray certification CPR certification preferred Compensation $20.00
•28.00 per hour , depending on experience and clinical skill level Plus monthly bonus opportunities Candidates with strong restorative skills, implant/surgical assisting experience, and expanded-function capabilities may qualify toward the higher end of the range.
