This energetic position offers the opportunity to lead a team of dental assistants, ensure smooth clinic workflows, and uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient management. As a key member of our practice, you will utilize your expertise in dental procedures, clinical confidentiality, and advanced dental technologies to create a welcoming and efficient environment for both patients and staff. Your leadership will inspire excellence in every aspect of dental assisting, fostering a positive experience for all. Responsibilities Supervise and mentor dental assisting staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and infection prevention policies Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry with precision and professionalism Manage patient flow efficiently using patient management software Prepare treatment rooms with necessary dental instruments, sterilize equipment following dental sterilization procedures, and maintain aseptic techniques to uphold clinical safety standards Take high-quality dental x-rays and 3D scans while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and radiation safety protocols Oversee inventory of dental supplies and equipment including dental instruments, X-ray machines, dental chairs, and advanced tools like 3D scanners to ensure readiness for daily operations Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures to promote ongoing patient care Maintain detailed medical documentation and medical records in accordance with clinical confidentiality policies Experience Proven experience working in a fast-paced general dentistry or specialty practice with a focus on cosmetic dentistry preferred Hands-on experience with dental assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry and endodontic procedures Demonstrated ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, digital imaging devices, 3D scanners, and sterilization tools Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and provide outstanding patient care Certification in radiography (dental x-ray), infection control training, and CPR is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your leadership enhances the quality of care delivered every day.
