Experienced Dental Assistant - Private Wellness-Focused Practice Smiles by Hazen | Mount Dora, FL We're looking for a dental assistant who wants to be more than an extra set of hands. Stay one step ahead during procedures Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do Communicate confidently and professionally with patients Pay attention to details Enjoy learning new technology and techniques Welcome coaching and feedback Help teammates when you see they need it Handle busy days without losing your composure Address concerns directly and professionally Look for solutions instead of simply identifying problems Want to become an even better dental assistant Responsibilities May Include Chairside assisting for comprehensive restorative dentistry Digital radiographs Digital scanning Clinical photography Patient education Treatment documentation Sterilization and infection control Maintaining clinical supplies and inventory Supporting efficient doctor and hygiene workflows Helping patients understand what to expect during treatment Experience with digital dentistry and advanced technology is a plus. What Makes Our Practice Different We're a privately owned practice, not a high-volume corporate office. Our philosophy is to understand the whole patient, identify problems early and help patients make decisions that support the long-term health of their mouth and body. Our practice incorporates digital scanning, CBCT imaging, AI-assisted diagnostics, minimally invasive dentistry, Guided Biofilm Therapy, ozone therapy and comprehensive treatment planning.
