Our team is committed to creating confident, healthy smiles while providing a positive experience for every patient. Position Overview The Orthodontic Dental Assistant plays a key role in supporting the orthodontist and clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients of all ages. Key Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take dental impressions, digital scans, and photographs Place and remove orthodontic appliances under doctor supervision (brackets, wires, bands, etc., per state regulations) Adjust archwires and change elastics as directed Take orthodontic X-rays in compliance with state guidelines Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols Support efficient patient flow and operatory turnover Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
