Job Description
Dental Assistant - Fast-Paced, High-Energy Office Dental Team of Plantation is looking for friendly, detail-oriented an experienced, high-energy Dental Assistant to join our busy, fast-paced practice in Plantation, FL. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment, love working with patients, and have hands-on experience with Open Dental, Invisalign treatment presentation, and iTero digital scanning, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Assist chairside during a variety of general and cosmetic dental procedures. Take and process digital X-rays and iTero scans. Present and explain Invisalign treatment options to patients. Accurately chart clinical notes and treatment in Open Dental. Prepare and break down treatment rooms; sterilize instruments per infection-control protocols. Help keep a busy schedule running on time and support smooth patient flow. Educate patients on post-op care, oral hygiene, and treatment follow-through. Track clinical supply inventory and flag reorder needs. What We're Looking For Working knowledge of Open Dental software. Experience presenting Invisalign treatment plans to patients. Hands-on experience with iTero digital scanning. Current Dental Assistant certification/registration and radiography certification (per Florida requirements). Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong four-handed chairside assisting skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume schedule. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-first attitude. Reliable, punctual, and a team player. Preferred (Not Required) Experience in a high-production or multi-provider dental practice. Additional treatment coordination / case presentation experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
