Overview Our practice is active and growing! We are seeking to add a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our awesome team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping us provide high-quality patient care. This position requires a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in the dental office. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and readily available. Perform X-ray imaging as needed while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using Dentrix software. Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices. Manage sterilization of instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area. Prepare and break down treatment rooms for patient care. Prepare or close the office at the beginning or end of the day Ideal Qualifications Proficiency in dental terminology and dental procedures Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred. Familiarity with X-ray procedures and safety regulations Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with patients and team members. Previous experience in assisting within a dental setting is highly desirable however this position is ideal for someone interested in dentistry as a career. Pay:
