Job Description
Job Description We are looking for a registered dental assistant who is well organized and pays attention to detail; someone who is cheerful, kind, and a considerate team player; someone who is self-motivated, capable of following instructions and respecting office protocol. This position is for Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:45-5:00, lunch from 1:00 to 2:00,and Fridays 7:45-1:00. Health insurance is not available through our office. Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and seating them
- Set up and tear down of the operatory
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist
- Lab tasks as needed
- Making bleaching trays and soft mouth guards
- Ordering Supplies
- Clean and stock the rooms
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Fill out referral forms
- Create treatment plans
- Schedule appointments
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos
- Be willing to help with check-in/check-out and taking patient payments
- General upkeep of the dental office facilities
