Job Description
Who we are: We are Mundelein Family Dental! We are trying to change the industry standards one filling at a time. Our Modern State of the Art office is equipped with the latest and greatest technology. We are a super fun office without an ego's. We do tons of fun activities with our team. We also pride on having the best snacks in the office. What we are looking for : We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you are passionate about dentistry and have excellent clinical skills, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take x-rays
- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as fabricating temporary crowns
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Experience:
- Must have previous experience as a Dental Assistant
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft(Preferred)
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessments
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
