Performance Dental Care | Tinley Park, IL Are you a great Dental Assistant looking for a long-term dental home? Performance Dental Care is looking for an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are a well-established, modern, digital, insurance-based general dental practice serving the Tinley Park community. Our team is committed to providing an excellent patient experience while maintaining a supportive, efficient, and professional work environment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, anticipates the needs of the doctor and patients, works well with a team, and helps keep the clinical day running smoothly. What We Offer Full-time position $18.00-$24.00 per hour , based on experience Full benefits package Supportive and experienced dental team Modern, digital dental office Stable, established practice Opportunity for continued professional growth Positive, patient-centered work environment Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience required 3-5 years of experience preferred Candidates with less than 1 year of dental assisting experience will not be considered We are looking to fill this position within the next two weeks Responsibilities Welcome patients and help create a comfortable, positive experience Prepare patients for treatment and examinations Set up operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures Assist the dentist using efficient four-handed dentistry Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment areas according to OSHA and infection-control standards Take and process digital radiographs as permitted Perform laboratory tasks as directed Provide postoperative and oral hygiene instructions Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked operatories Assist with accurate clinical documentation and patient records Support scheduling and other patient-care functions when needed Maintain efficient clinical flow throughout the day Qualifications & Skills Proven chairside dental assisting experience Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials Knowledge of sterilization and infection-control protocols Excellent communication and patient-care skills Ability to anticipate the needs of the dentist during procedures Strong attention to detail Organized, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using dental software and digital technology High school diploma or equivalent Coronal polishing certification is a plus Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) training or additional certifications are a plus If you are an experienced Dental Assistant who enjoys creating great patient experiences and being an important part of a strong dental team, we would love to hear from you.
