We're looking for you! Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, friendly environment! As the only assistant in the office, you will support the dentist with chairside assistance, patient management, and clinical procedures. You will also be responsible for office ordering and keeping up with inventory. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Assist dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including crown preps, fillings both composite and amalgam, and denture impressions. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly according to dental sterilization procedures Take and develop dental x-rays and medical imaging while adhering to radiation safety protocols. Support infection prevention management by maintaining aseptic techniques and adhering to clinical confidentiality policies Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and treatment plans using clear dental terminology. Help the rest of the staff if you are availble by either developing hygiene x-rays, pulling charts, or other office duties. Manage all inventory for the office. Must be able to communicate with sales reps and be comftorable ordering online. Requirements
ATLEAST 2
years of dental assisting experience. Open Dental software knowledge is a plus. Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently and confidently Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists and other healthcare professionals Certification in X-ray safety.
