Job Description

Job Overview Perfect for a mom who wants to balance children with work, or someone who needs part time hours. Tuesday and Thursdays are typical work days. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Dental Assistant Certificate is preferred, but not required. Must have had a 3.5 GPA in high school or higher. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Coordinate patient flow within the clinic. Support a welcoming environment for young patients. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential. Knowledge of Dental software for managing patient records is highly desirable. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is beneficial. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to health regulations.
