Dental Assistant - Alexandria, LA A local dental office is looking to add a dependable Dental Assistant to their team. Expanded Duties certification is preferred but not required. General dental assisting experience is strongly recommended.

Pay:

$15-$20/hr, depending on experience

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday:

7:30 AM-5:00 PM (may run slightly over if procedures go long)

Friday:

8:00 AM-12:00 PM (cleaning, organizing, and preparing for the upcoming week)

Responsibilities:

Chair-side assistance during procedures Room setup, breakdown, and daily cleaning Instrument sterilization and equipment maintenance Patient preparation and support throughout appointments Weekly prep each Friday to get the office ready for the following week

Preferred Background:

Prior dental assisting experience Expanded Duties Dental Assistant certification is a plus Strong communication skills and comfort in a fast-paced clinical setting This is a direct-hire role with the company. They offer vacation pay, major holiday pay, and 401(k) benefits.
