Job Description
Job Overview Join Our Dental Practice! We are a patient-centered dental practice dedicated to providing high-quality, comfortable care in a warm and professional environment. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team and help deliver exceptional experiences for our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures (exams, restorations, extractions, and more) Prepare and break down treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols Provide excellent patient care: greet patients, explain procedures, and help them feel at ease Take and record vital signs, update medical/dental histories, and chart treatment Perform basic laboratory duties and pour/trim models as needed Support front-desk operations when needed (scheduling, confirming appointments, collecting payments) Maintain inventory of dental supplies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent on-the-job training preferred Current CPR/BLS certification Radiography certification (or willingness to obtain) Previous dental assisting experience preferred but we will consider motivated candidates willing to train Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to work efficiently Reliable transportation and ability to work Tuesday-Thursday What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Continuing education support A supportive, team-oriented work environment with modern equipment Opportunities for growth within the practice If you are passionate about helping patients smile with confidence and want to be part of a positive dental team, we'd love to hear from you.
