Premier pediatric/orthodontic group dental practice in Cambridge presents an opportunity for a senior orthodontic assistant. Our practice is built upon trusting relationships that help children develop positive attitudes about their dental health. Superior communication skills are a must. We are looking for a professional, reliable and upbeat team member who strives to learn and grow within their position. This is a part time position Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, no weekend hours with excellent compensation and benefits (health insurance, 401k, paid time off).

Job Duties:

• Panoramic and cephalometric radiographs
• Facial and intraoral photographs
• Assisting the orthodontist with clinical procedures
• Alginate impressions and wax bite
• iTero scan
• Placement and removal of separators
• Placement and removal of archwires and elastic ties
• Maintenance of a clean environment
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments as needed
• Pouring models and making retainers
• Oral hygiene communication
• Treatment coordination

Experience & Requirements:

• At least 1 year orthodontic assisting
• Experience with Invisalign
• Dental assistant license for Massachusetts
• Radiology certificate
