Job Description

Dental Dreams, LLC in Leominster, MA is now hiring Licensed Dental Assistants to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our Dentists and delivering exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and managing patient records with accuracy and confidentiality. Additionally, you will provide patients with clear instructions on oral care and post-treatment procedures, contributing to their overall dental health and comfort. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, patient interaction skills, and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a high standard of dental care.
Qualifications:
Active Dental Assistant license in state of Massachusetts Dental Radiology Certification High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent On-the-job training Current CPR certification. Demonstrated knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols. Bilingual - Spanish or Portuguese (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures by preparing and passing instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection control standards. Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and documenting treatment details accurately. Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions to ensure proper care and recovery. Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper disposal of hazardous materials. Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with other staff to optimize clinic operations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and answer any questions to promote dental health awareness.
