Orthodontic experience is preferred, but not required. Must have a MA Dental Assisting License. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player. Responsibilities Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Operate 3D scanners for imaging and assist in creating orthodontic appliances. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care and improve patient experiences. Qualifications MA Dental Assisting License Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
