Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care. Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as permitted by state regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and charting. Ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked. Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication. Deliver outstanding customer service while helping create a positive patient experience. Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred. Current Massachusetts Dental Assistant credentials and radiology certification (or eligibility) preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment. Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Schedule This is a full-time position. Availability to work two Saturdays per month is required and is a non-negotiable part of the schedule.
