Our current office hours are 8am- 3pm Fridays only but we will opening on additional days in near future. If you are a cross-trained professional who loves transitioning seamlessly between patient care in the back and front desk check-in iwe want to hear from you! In this dual role, you will ensure a fluid, positive experience for our patients—whether you are greeting them at check-in or assisting with clinical procedures. Responsibilities Occasionally assist dentist during clinical procedures Take and develop dental X-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, adhering to infection prevention protocols Manage patient records and medical documentation within Open Dental ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Prepare treatment rooms with dental equipment, sterilize instruments, and uphold infection control standards in line with healthcare guidelines Greet patients warmly at the front desk, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow efficiently Collect vital signs and medical history information while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions using clear dental terminology Insurance Verification, eligibility and Claim Processing we be provided by a Third-party Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting or front desk coordination within a dental clinic setting is preferred Proficiency with Open Dental patient management software is a plus Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security Familiarity with dental procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and general dentistry practices Ability to operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and sterilization tools confidently Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dentistry Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration Commitment to infection prevention management and healthcare infection control standards Ability to perform dental sterilization procedures accurately and efficiently in accordance with infection control policies Knowledge of dental assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry and oral surgery support is advantageous This vibrant role offers an excellent chance to grow your career in a supportive environment dedicated to exceptional patient care.
