About Our Office We are a friendly, two-doctor Fee-for-Service (FFS) specialty dental practice! Dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients while fostering a positive and supportive workplace for our team. What We're Looking For We're seeking a compassionate and friendly Dental Assistant (whether you're just starting out or have years of experience). We're happy to provide training to the right candidate. In this role, you will support our dentists in delivering comprehensive treatments, ensuring our patients feel comfortable and cared for, and helping maintain a smooth clinical flow. We're eager to welcome someone who is warm, approachable, and eager to create a welcoming environment where patients leave with a smile and confidence in their dental care. A Day in the Life of Our Dental Assistants Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe environment Assist dentists during procedures with four-handed dentistry techniques Triage patients by taking vital signs and capturing necessary imaging Manage electronic health records (EHR systems) and accurately document patient and treatment information, all while maintaining HIPAA compliance Support front desk operations, managing patient flow and records requests Create and send out detailed treatment reports Communicate effectively with team members and patients using your knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical language Qualifications Required Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams Punctuality and reliability Strong attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a dental clinic setting Familiarity with EHR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental Hands-on experience with X-ray techniques, medical imaging, and 3D scanners Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques Experience supporting pediatric dentistry or working with children is a plus Solid understanding of dental assisting procedures, including chairside assisting and vital signs monitoring Ability to handle medical documentation accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations
