Dental Assistant - Fee-for-Service Private Practice Chevy Chase, MD | Full-Time or Part-Time We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our growing fee-for-service private dental practice in Chevy Chase, MD. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during a variety of procedures Set up and become familiar with a wide range of dental materials and instruments Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) Take both digital and traditional impressions Complete dental charting (Dexis experience preferred) Follow OSHA and CDC infection control and sterilization protocols Sterilize and organize instruments Manage and track laboratory cases Review and update patients' medical histories Maintain autoclave, equipment, medication, and waste management logs Monitor and restock clinical supplies Help maintain an organized, efficient clinical environment Ensure patients are comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit Assist with front office responsibilities as needed , including answering phones, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, and processing payments Qualifications Current Maryland Dental Assisting License Current Radiology Certification Current CPR certification OSHA and HIPAA compliance training Friendly, positive, and professional attitude with patients of all ages Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Experience with dental software (Dexis preferred) Ability to work independently while contributing as a collaborative team member
Schedule Office Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM We are currently hiring for full-time or part-time positions. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $26+/hour , based on experience and qualifications.
