What You'll Do Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures Assist the doctor during restorative, cosmetic, prosthodontic, and general dental procedures Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photographs Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and CDC compliance Fabricate temporary restorations, impressions, and models as needed Maintain accurate clinical notes and assist with charting Set up and break down operatories efficiently Manage inventory and order clinical supplies Educate patients on post-operative instructions and oral hygiene Help maintain a smooth daily schedule by anticipating the doctor's needs Contribute to a positive, professional, team-oriented office culture Qualifications Maryland Dental Radiation Certification (required) Previous dental assisting experience preferred (1+ year) Experience with digital dentistry and software, Dentrix, is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality patient care Professional appearance and positive attitude Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
