Orthodontic Assistant/Front Desk (3-4 days/week, Growth-Oriented Private Practice)

Our modern, patient-centered orthodontic practice is looking for a motivated Orthodontic Assistant / Front Desk team member who takes pride in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Why You'll Love Working Here Supportive, professional, and highly organized team Clean, modern, and efficiently run office Strong emphasis on work-life balance Long-term growth and skill development opportunities A positive culture focused on quality care and consistency Schedule Alternating Monday and Tuesday (8:10-5:30) Alternating Wednesday (8:30-6) and Thursday (8:10-5:30) Most Fridays 8:10-5 2nd Saturday of each month: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Occasional community events (1-2x/month, paid) Key Responsibilities Clinical Support Take intraoral/extraoral photos, X-rays, and digital scans Assist with orthodontic procedures (training provided) Sterilization and clinic organization Maintain a clean, efficient clinical environment Front Desk / Administrative Answer phones professionally and efficiently Schedule and coordinate patient appointments Insurance verification and processing payments Patient communication (calls, texts, follow-ups) Maintain accurate and well-organized records Keep reception area clean and welcoming What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and time management Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask effectively in a structured, fast-paced setting Fine motor skills and comfort working hands-on with patients Positive, team-oriented mindset with a desire for long-term growth Preferred (but not required): Orthodontic clinic experience Dental office front desk or scheduling experience Familiarity with dental terminology and software Compensation & Growth Pay based on experience, skills, and performance Paid training provided Opportunity for increased responsibility and advancement over time Optional Growth Opportunity (Additional Hours Available) For team members interested in expanding their role, there is an opportunity to contribute to the practice's marketing and community engagement efforts, including: Contributing in social media content and posting Planning and supporting in-office promotions and patient engagement activities Organizing and participating in local community events and outreach This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy creativity, communication, and being involved in practice growth. Pay:
$17.00 - $23.00 per hour

This position requires a consistent schedule including alternating weekdays (Mon/Tue and Wed/Thu) and most Fridays and 2nd Saturday per month (except July/Aug when we don't open on Sat).
