Job Description

Our office is looking for a full-time dental assistant. We work Mondays and Wednesdays 8A-5P and Tuesdays and Thursdays 7A-4P. We are a busy family practice looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, hard-working individual. Our office prides itself on quality, ethical treatment of families in our community and safety of our patients is of the utmost importance. Our office uses digital charts (OpenDental), digital x-rays, intra-oral photography, intra-oral scanners, and lasers. We are looking for someone who is honest, ethical, personable, and cares about our patients as much as we do. Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible while in the office Sterilize dental instruments properly Set up treatment rooms for procedures, selecting the proper instruments and materials required Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures Take X-rays or dental impressions Complete lab work as instructed Disinfecting treatment rooms after each procedure Monitor supplies and stocking rooms as needed Skills Proven experience as Dental Assistant or similar role In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g.
OSHA, HIPAA
) Knowledge of dental instruments and materials Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality and ability to work with patients of all ages Attention to detail, organized, and reliable Good computer skills Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job Must be CPR and x-ray certified.

$15.00 - $22.00 per hour
