Applicant must be able to work from 8AM-5PM Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong work ethic, understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and patient management, as well as proficiency in various dental software systems including Open Dental, Dexis and DTX Studio. The candidate who joins our team will make a difference in patients' lives while developing their skills in a supportive environment! Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety standards. Manage patient records and documentation accurately in EMR software. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Provide chairside assistance during various procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, implants and orthodontics with clear aligners. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance patient comfort and safety. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Familiarity with Open Dental software is highly desirable. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Proficiency in taking X-rays and performing imaging tasks. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. RDA or CDA is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
