We are an award-winning general dental practice located in Novi, MI. We are looking for bright individuals who are ready to join our team of highly-skilled professionals. This opportunity is available to recent high school graduates or those who are interested in a career in the dental field but don't have any prior healthcare experience. This position will expose potential candidates to various areas of a busy dental practice in order to build foundational knowledge within the dental field.

Working with hygienists to clean, restock, and turn over rooms for next patient. Sterilizing instruments. Getting certified to take intraoral x-ray and Cone Beam x-ray exposures. Taking patient's medical history and updating records in the computer system, recording blood pressure, typing notes, etc. Assisting hygienists in performing a comprehensive periodontal evaluations by entering probe depths, bleeding points, recession, etc into the patient's chart. Understanding the anatomy of the mouth and becoming familiar with most common dental procedures by shadowing doctors & hygienists. Assist Hygienists in their day-to-day duties.
