Job Description

```Duties```
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient use
  • Take digital x=rays and digital panorex
  • Perform some dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Sterilize dental instruments and equipment, including maintenance and monitoring
  • Assist with dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring and trimming models ```Requirements```
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
  • Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization methods
  • Familiarity with dental software systems for patient scheduling and record keeping
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Certification in Dental Assisting preferred but not mandatory
Skills:
  • Experience in assisting in pediatrics, oral surgery, crown/bridge, restorative and implant restorative procedures
  • Medical records updates and take patients vitals
  • Dental assisting and chairside patient charting into dental software system

compliant Summary The Dental Assistant position requires a diverse skill set to support the dental team in providing high-quality patient care. Proficiency in chairside assisting, medical terminology, and aseptic technique is essential for this role. Additionally, knowledge of anatomy and infection control is crucial to ensure patient safety. Experience with Dentrix, and other premium skills will be advantageous in this fast-paced environment. The ability to communicate effectively, especially in oral surgery and pediatric settings, along with strong organizational skills, is key to success in this role. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in assisting with patient care, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting the overall operations of the dental practice.
