In this vital role, you will provide chairside assistance, perform functions within your scope of practice, and support the delivery of exceptional patient care. We prefer a minimum of 1 year of experience but are willing to train the right candidate.

- 6:00p.m. Wednesday

- 5:00p.m. Thursday

m. Your expertise in dental procedures, sterilization, and patient management will help ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment for all patients. This temporary to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your clinical skills while contributing to a positive patient experience in a professional setting. Must have excellent computer and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Duties Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry with precision and confidence. Perform functions such as temporary crowns, and other delegated clinical tasks. Prepare and process dental instruments and materials using sterilization procedures aligned with infection prevention management policies. Capture high-quality dental radiographs (X-ray) including intra-oral, panoramic, and CBCT images. Also, have the ability to operate advanced imaging equipment like 3D intra-oral scanners to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Manage patient records efficiently using electronic medical records (EMR) system, Eaglesoft experienced preferred, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Take medical history to support comprehensive patient assessments prior to treatment. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by adhering to infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and dental sterilization procedures. Support patient care by providing clear instructions, ensuring comfort, and fostering a positive experience from check-in to check-out when needed. Assist with scheduling, patient confirmations, recall and patient communication when needed. Qualifications Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties is preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft for scheduling, documentation, and patient management preferred but not required. Experience operating X-ray machines for dental imaging along with understanding of radiation safety protocols. Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control practices including aseptic technique and sterilization procedures. Excellent communication skills and customer service skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of patient care.
