Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a welcoming environment for patients while supporting the delivery of exceptional dental care. In this vital role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and clinical efficiency. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment in accordance with dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management policies. Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow with four-handed dentistry techniques. Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging technology while adhering to dental x-ray safety standards. Manage patient records accurately using patient management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for clinical confidentiality policies. Record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information to support comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and treatment plans while demonstrating excellent patient management skills. Maintain clinical cleanliness by processing dental instruments, sterilizing equipment, and following infection control protocols aligned with healthcare infection prevention and control expertise. Skills Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for efficient documentation and patient record management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and dental equipment operation to support accurate assistance during procedures. Experience with dental sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and infection control standards to ensure a safe clinical environment. Ability to operate dental imaging tools including X-ray machines and 3D scanners with precision and safety awareness. Excellent communication skills as a dental receptionist to coordinate appointments, manage patient flow, and provide outstanding customer service. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral surgery procedures. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in pediatric dentistry settings or general dentistry practices with a focus on patient care quality. Pay:
