We are a PPO / fee for service office that was started about year ago with a mission to become a one stop dental office for all ages and all kinds of dental work. 8:00 AM•4:00 PM Compensation S tarting at $20/Hr based on experience. Will be higher for experienced unlicensed dental assistant What You'll Do As a key member of our clinical team, you'll partner closely with our doctor to deliver exceptional care while helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their visit.
Responsibilities include:
Assist providers using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare treatment rooms and patients for a variety of procedures Assisting in taking digital radiographs and intraoral images. We use open dental software. Ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked Sterilize instruments in accordance with OSHA and CDC standards Provide patient education before, during, and after treatment Assisting in fabricating temporary restorations and digital scanning Maintain accurate electronic patient records Support efficient patient flow while delivering an exceptional patient experience Collaborate with providers and front office team members to keep the day running smoothly What Makes You Successful Our best assistants are: Motivated by helping patients who may need extra education, reassurance, or encouragement Able to maintain professionalism and composure during busy or unpredictable days Excellent communicators who build trust with patients from all backgrounds Team players who enjoy supporting one another to deliver outstanding care Adaptable, organized, and energized by a high-volume practice Committed to continuous learning and delivering high-quality clinical care Qualifications CPR/BLS Certification Knowledge of OSHA and CDC infection control standards Experience with digital radiography and open dental software is plus Excellent communication and organizational skills Previous chairside dental assisting experience is a plus Why Waterford Dental Competitive hourly pay Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off and paid holidays Continuing education opportunities Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture Modern technology and clinical resources Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Bonus programs to be introduced shortly.
