Job Description
We are looking to add a dental assistant to our office. We are an office with amazing and fun culture and great team chemistry. We work together to help our patients and take pride in the services we provide. Hours are Monday - Thursday from 7am-3pm. As an assistant you will ensure excellent customer service and perform basic administrative and dental tasks to help the dentist as patients are seen throughout the day. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. Responsibilities Welcome customers in the dental office Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Provide smooth transitioning and guidance to the patients as they are taken throughout the clinic for their case treatment Skills Certificate of graduation allowing you to work as a Dental Assistant in MN Willingness to work as a team Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Additional certification or training is an asset
