Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment Skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Open Dental
- Familiarity with X-Ray procedures
- Experience in dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Understanding of Prosthodontics and Four-handed dentistry techniques
