Job Description

Job Overview Join our fun and caring dental team as a Dental Assistant! In this energetic and rewarding position, you will support dentists during clinical procedures, manage patient interactions, and ensure the smooth operation of our dental practice. You will help create a welcoming environment for patients and work closely with other fellow team members while providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, materials, and equipment, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use according to infection prevention protocols Assist dentists during various general dentistry procedures by providing chairside support and handling dental instruments efficiently Take dental x-rays using direct digital sensors, panoramic, and CBCT machines. Take impressions using 3D scanners and traditional impression materials, and manage lab cases. Manage patient records accurately within electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Collect vital signs and medical history information from patients to assist in comprehensive treatment planning and ensure patient safety Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and explain dental terminology clearly to foster understanding and comfort Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by following infection control protocols Requirements Experience as a Dental Assistant preferred, but not required. Willing to train someone with the right attitude Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new technologies Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, team members, and healthcare professionals BLS CPR certification beneficial, but not required, able to take or renew once hired We are committed to fostering a supportive environment that values your professional growth while prioritizing patient care excellence. $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
