Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist or hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and provide excellent patient care.

Duties:

• Assist the hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and prepare equipment and instruments
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Schedule patient appointments
• Assist with dental billing and coding

Skills:

• Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques
• Experience with medical records and documentation
• Knowledge of prosthodontics procedures
• Familiarity with medical imaging systems
• Understanding of general dentistry practices
• Ability to work with pediatric patients
