Job Description

We are an energetic, high end private practice orthodontic office seeking an Orthodontic Assistant who values exceptional customer service, personal relationships, and clinical interdependence. The successful applicant will be experienced in creating unique and personal connections with each patient and/or parent, keeping schedules productive, and explaining treatment plans. High performance expectations are the norm along with the ability to personify our culture of celebration and respect.

The Orthodontic Assistant is motivated, willing to learn, able to take initiative, FRIENDLY, ENERGETIC, cooperative and able to multi-task in this busy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant who desires to work with one of the best Orthodontic Teams on the coast. The successful applicant must:
Understand all phases of back office procedures for orthodontics Have knowledge of Orthodontics terminology and able to document and/or transcribe patient records Understand sterilization protocol (knowledge of OSHA and Infection control) Take x-rays Understand the use of dental instruments and set-ups for Orthodontics Communicate orally and in writing with patients, team members and the
Orthodontist Requirements:
Education:
Certification from a dental assisting school, have a Mississippi Radiology certificate, and have a current CPR certificate
Experience:
2+ years in a dental office setting
Computer Skills:
Computer Literate Language Ability:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
