• 25 per hour, based on experience Tuesday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Cedar Springs Dental is looking for a dependable and motivated Dental Assistant II (DA II) to join our growing team.

We are a general dental practice that provides a wide range of treatment, giving our assistants the opportunity to be involved in everything from routine restorative dentistry to root canal therapy and dental implant procedures. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working closely with patients, and wants to be an important part of a supportive clinical team. Our ideal candidate is organized, efficient, dependable, and able to help keep the doctor's schedule running smoothly. Experience with endodontics, implants, and surgical procedures is a plus, but we are also willing to train a motivated DA II who has a strong clinical foundation and wants to expand their skills. What You'll Do Provide chairside assistance for general and restorative dentistry Assist with root canal therapy, including molar endodontics Assist with dental implant placement and other surgical procedures Prepare operatories, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures Take diagnostic dental radiographs Perform digital scanning and assist with digital dental workflows Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control protocols Review the schedule and prepare in advance for upcoming procedures Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical areas Provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for our patients Work closely with the doctor and clinical team to keep the day running efficiently What We're Looking For Meets North Carolina requirements to perform DA II duties Dental assisting experience preferred Endodontic, implant, and/or surgical assisting experience is a plus Strong chairside assisting and organizational skills Comfortable working in a busy clinical environment Dependable and punctual Professional and friendly communication with patients and coworkers Ability to anticipate the doctor's needs during procedures Willingness to learn new procedures and continue developing clinical skills Positive, team-oriented attitude Compensation & Benefits $23
