Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Assist with front desk duties as needed
  • Coronal polishing
Skills:
  • Dental assisting experience, including knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix/Carestack
  • Ability to take and develop dental x-rays
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
  • Knowledge of medical coding and billing processes
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems for dental restorations
