Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This energetic position combines clinical support with front desk responsibilities, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to patient health and satisfaction. You will be the friendly face and efficient organizer that keeps our clinic running seamlessly, utilizing your medical administrative expertise and clinical skills to create a welcoming environment for all patients. Must be a friendly person/demeanor. Duties Greet patients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in/check-out processes using Open Dental Assist dentists during procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and handing necessary supplies Review and update patient medical records while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA confidentiality policies and health information management standards Collect payments, process insurance claims, and perform medical billing using knowledge of health insurance policies including all PPO. Manage phone communication with patients, answer inquiries professionally, and coordinate appointment scheduling with excellent phone etiquette Qualifications Proven clinic experience in a dental or medical office setting with familiarity in dental clinic procedures and terminology Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in bilingual settings (preferred) Experience with medical collection processes and health insurance knowledge to facilitate smooth billing operations Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies and attention to detail Prior experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems in a healthcare environment is highly desirable Embark on a fulfilling career where your clinical expertise and administrative talents come together to make a real difference. Pay:
