Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging technology while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Manage patient records accurately using patient management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring all medical documentation is complete and compliant with privacy standards. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and addressing patient questions with professionalism and empathy. Support dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of infection control. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow, manage appointment scheduling as a dental receptionist when needed, and assist with dental instrument processing for efficient clinic operations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures. Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; experience with patient management software is highly preferred. Strong understanding of infection prevention management, dental sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques. Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, intraoral cameras, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging devices. Familiarity with healthcare infection control standards and medical documentation practices in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry, oral surgery procedures, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is advantageous.
