Job Description
Dental Assistant (DA1 ) We are looking for a passionate Dental Assistant at our dental practice in North Raleigh who is caring, compassionate, and has a genuine concern for others. We have a great team member with over 20 years of experience who will guide and teach you every aspect of patient care in dentistry. About Caring Smile Dentistry We do dentistry differently. Ideal Dental Assistant candidates will be: Ensure our patients are comfortable and prepared for treatment Work with dental providers for a variety of dental and hygiene procedures Create a positive patient experience that encourages optimum oral health Must be able to comply with safety procedures and regulations (i.e. HIPAA)
Responsibilities :
Chairside dental assisting (Restorative, Crown and Bridge, Endo, Implant) Sterilization (clean and sterilize instruments) Documentation (review and update patient dental and medical history) Dental supplies management (prepare trays for dental instruments and supplies ) Dental Radiographs (take and expose dental X-ray) Front desk cross-training (checking in patients, answering inquiries)Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required DA experiences preferred Dental Assistant in NC (required) Graduate of accredited dental assisting program CDA or NC classified DA I or 2 (Required) Compliance with state dental practice requirements: NC X-ray certification, CPR certified (Required) Experience in medical or dental field preferred but not required Dental SW experience (Eaglesoft) preferred but not requiredSchedule:
Monay-Thursday, 1 Friday a month, no weekend, 8 hours a dayBenefits:
