Job Overview Dental Assistant - Full Time (4 Days/Week) We are seeking an upbeat, enthusiastic, and confident Dental Assistant to be a part of amazing team here at Plymouth Dental Group. As a clinical team member, you will be assisting the dentist in procedures and monitoring the patient's overall comfort and well-being. Schedule:
Monday-Thursday (7:45a-5:15p)
Responsibilities:
Strive to provide the best patient experience Support and Assist dentist chairside with clinical treatment of patients. Assist with documentation and the upkeep of records Listen, empathize and address all patient concerns Provide clear communication and education on treatment plans and maintaining oral health. Oversee operatory set-up and clean-up, including sterilization process. Take radiographs/x-rays Support front desk and office manager as needed with admin needs, patient calls, etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of Dental Assistant experience preferred. Possible On-The-Job Training for the right candidate. CRP Certification- Radiography/ X-RAY certification per state guidelines Well versed in dental terminology and procedures Maintains a positive, collaborative and supportive disposition with team and patients Maintain compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training). Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009
