Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft will be considered an asset. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment. Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in the system. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage inventory of dental supplies and place orders as needed. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries. Support endodontic procedures by preparing materials and assisting the dentist as required. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and knowledge of anatomy related to oral health. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable. Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental management software. Understanding of medical terminology, coding, and record-keeping procedures. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
